SAN DIEGO — The Lytle Creek Post Office has reopened for business. The facility, located at 375 Valley Vista Drive, Lytle Creek 92358, had been temporarily closed due to the South Fire.

“We want to thank our Lytle Creek customers for their patience and support during the temporary closure,” said USPS District Manager Lisa Baldwin. “The safety and security of our customers, employees and the mail are our highest priority.”

The Lytle Creek Post Office provides retail services from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and 2:25 to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
