Behind-the-Scenes Media Tour At Los Angeles Mail Processing & Distribution Center

What:

As part of the Postal Service’s Delivering for America plan, 112 new package sorters have been deployed and installed throughout USPS mail processing facilities around the country.  The Postal Service continues to remain on the cutting edge by proactively thinking ahead to provide more predictable service to our customers in advance of the much-anticipated holiday season. The plan includes over $40 billion in capital investments over the next 10 years, with $20 billion going towards our mail and package processing network, including USPS facility space upgrades and procurement of new processing equipment.

We’d like to invite you to visit the Los Angeles Processing and Distribution Center on November 22, 2021 to see these processing machines in action.

You’ll also have the chance to speak with senior postal management on the vision for these machines ahead of our holiday peak season.
