ALTA, CA — Severe winter weather has temporarily closed Alta Post Office located at 33735 Nary Red Road, Alta, CA 95701.

Customers are directed to go to Colfax Post Office located at 40 W Church Street, Colfax, CA 95713. Hours: 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Customers must provide identification to get their mail.

Customers are reminded to bring proper photo ID to make mail and package pickups.

We apologize for this inconvenience to our customers and hope to have this office reopened and fully operational again as soon as possible.
