Background:

Toccara Woods will be officially installed as the Willows Postmaster.  The public is invited to attend this ceremonial event.  Please RSVP to Toccara.L.Woods@usps.gov by April 11, 2022.

Woods is a 7-year postal employee who previously served as a supervisor at the Willows Post office.

“My goal is to provide outstanding customer service to the communities served by the Willows Post Office and to contribute to the overall success of the Postal service,” said Woods. “As outlined in our  USPS Delivering for America plan, we’re modernizing and continually adapting to the evolving needs of our customers.  I’m very much aware of the vital role we play in connecting neighbors and the community to the nation.

As Willows Postmaster, Woods supervises 25 postal employees, delivers to five city routes, three rural routes, one Highway Contract Route and daily distribution of mail to 900 PO Boxes.

Woods is a graduate from Ivy Tech community college in Indianapolis, Indiana and holds an associate degree in Business Management. She enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling the world.

As Willows Postmaster, Woods manages Artois, Butte City, Glenn, and Elk Creek retail operations.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
