Background:

Muni Sachindran will be officially installed as the Brownsville Postmaster.  The public is invited to attend this ceremonial event.  Please RSVP to Muni.Sachindran@usps.gov by May 18, 2022.

Sachindran is a 9-year postal employee who previously worked as a supervisor customer service at the Grass Valley Post office.

“It’s truly an honor and a privilege to service the Brownsville community,” said Sachindran. “As outlined in our  USPS Delivering for America plan, we’re modernizing and continually adapting to the evolving needs of our customers.  I want to make the Postal Service thrive and fulfill its mission.”

As Brownsville Postmaster, Sachindran supervises 7 postal employees, oversees operations at the Challenge, Clipper Mills, Forbestown, and Rackerby Post Offices, delivers to one Highway Contract Route and daily distribution of mail to 639 PO Boxes.

Sachindran has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from University of Phoenix. He enjoys traveling and playing sports, in particular soccer and volleyball.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
