The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) today recognized Poshmark for mailing industry innovation and industry best practices at the largest annual trade show in the country for the mailing industry. The award was presented to Poshmark during the final day of the National Postal Forum, held this year in Phoenix, and was among 12 companies recognized nationwide.
Awards at the NPF were presented to customers in three categories: the Mailing and Digital Innovation Award, the Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award and the Innovation and Growth Award.
The Mailing and Digital Innovation Award recognizes customers who demonstrate creativity by finding new methods to use mail to drive significant business results and mail growth. The Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award honors customers who have used industry best practices to implement new technologies to maximize efficiencies, and to convert requests for purchase and fulfillment into package volume reflecting significant business results. The Innovation and Growth Award recognizes companies that have taken steps to position themselves for significant growth with the U.S. Postal Service as their partner. They have employed innovative strategies or operational improvements to rapidly grow and deliver increased value and business results. There were winners in each of the Postal Service’s four geographic areas across the nation: Atlantic, Central, Southern and WestPac.
Poshmark received the WestPac Area Innovation and Growth Award. Headquartered in Redwood City, CA, Poshmark is a leading social marketplace for new and secondhand styles for women, men, kids, pets, home and more.
Poshmark offers a complete solution to the buyer and seller that simplifies payments, shipping and more to allow its community of more than 80 million registered users to buy and sell in a simple, social and sustainable way. PoshPost, Poshmark’s no-hassle shipping service supported through their partnership with the Postal Service, provides a prepaid, preaddressed label to the seller, allowing for quick and easy fulfillment. The process has garnered positive feedback from both buyers and sellers on the platform and overall customer satisfaction has increased due to this hassle-free shipping approach. That convenience is making it easier for people to extend the life cycle of items, keep them from being landfilled or burned, and, ultimately, contribute to a more circular, sustainable future.
The National Postal Forum and the United States Postal Service congratulate all of the award winners. USPS appreciates the innovation and continued partnerships with our mailers and their commitment to increasing the value of the U.S. Mail.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
