No injuries. Buildings closed until further notice
The U.S. Postal Service has implemented an emergency suspension of the Pearblossom Post Office effective immediately.
As a result of recent flooding, the Postal Service is temporarily suspending operations at the following California Post Office:
Until further notice, all retail operations at Pearblossom will be conducted at the following location:
Customers from Pearblossom can pick up P.O. Box mail at Littlerock at the retail counter during normal business hours. A valid picture ID is required to pick up P.O. Box mail. This is an emergency suspension of this office, not a permanent closure. Additional details will be provided as they become available regarding the reopening of this office.

Customers are reminded that the Post Office is always open, 24/7 including holidays, at www.usps.com. Using usps.com, customers can look up a ZIP Code, request free Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging, hold their mail, set up Premium Forwarding Service, and even print a mailing label and pay for postage using Click-N-Ship.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
