Midpines, CA – The Midpines, CA, Post Office is temporarily closed due to the Oak Fire that erupted Friday in Mariposa County.

The office, located at 6629 Highway 140, Midpines, CA 95345 will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

During this closure, customers who normally receive their mail from the MIDPINES Post Office via P.O. Box or carrier delivery can pick up their mail at the Mariposa Post Office, located at 5109 Jessie Street, Mariposa, CA 95338. Customers are reminded to bring proper photo identification for mail and package pickups.

Mariposa customers who have been evacuated can pick up their mail at the Mariposa Post Office.

The Mariposa Post Office is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
