Temporary Closures of Some Siskiyou County Post Offices

Fast moving McKinney fire results in mandatory evacuations

SISKIYOU COUNTY, CA — Fast-moving wildfires have resulted in the temporary relocation of three area Post Offices. Customers impacted will be able to retrieve mail at a nearby alternate pick-up location.

Klamath River Post Office operations have moved to the Yreka Post Office, 401 S Broadway St., Yreka, CA 96097.  Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Seiad Valley Post Office operations have moved to at the Happy Camp Post Office, 33 Davis Rd., Happy Camp, CA 96036. Hours are Monday – Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Scott Bar Post Office operations have moved to the Fort Jones Post Office, 11954 Main St., Fort Jones, CA 96032. Hours are Monday – Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Customers are reminded to provide photo ID for mail pick up.
