Emergency Suspension for Markleeville, CA, Post Office

Markleeville, CA – The U.S. Postal Service has implemented an emergency suspension of the Markleeville, CA, Post Office effective immediately.

As a result of recent flooding, the Postal Service is providing the following arrangements for customers served by the Markleeville Post Office located at 14845 State Route 89, CA, 96120. Beginning today, August 4, 2022, and continuing until further notice, post office operations will be conducted at the Gardnerville Post Office, located at 1267 US Highway 395 N STE L, Gardnerville, NV 89410.

Customers can mail items, purchase stamps, or pick up parcels at the Gardnerville Post Office during the hours indicated below.

Retail hours at the Gardnerville Post Office are Mon-Fri: 8:30am – 5:00pm and Sat: 12pm – 2pm. The office is closed Sunday.

Customers must provide a valid picture ID for mail pick up. This is an emergency suspension of this office, not a permanent closure. Additional details will be provided as they become available regarding the reopening of this office.
