Manages USPS Services for Cedar Glen & Lake Arrowhead Communities
CEDAR GLEN – Bryan Giroux was recently named the Postmaster of the Cedar Glen Post Office.
He replaces former Cedar Glen Postmaster Ken Cooper, who moved on to another postal facility.
As Cedar Glen Postmaster, Giroux supervises two employees and oversees retail services at the Cedar Glen Post Office and the daily distribution of mail to more than 1,200 PO Boxes at his facility.
Giroux is a 28-year postal employee who began his career as a mail carrier in Anaheim and most recently served as a supervisor at the Mira Loma Post Office.
“I’m so excited about this promotion!” said Giroux. “I’ve been working towards this goal for many years. I hope to continue the Postal Service’s legacy of outstanding customer service and to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
“As outlined in USPS’s Delivering for America plan, we are modernizing and continually adapting to the changing needs of our customers. Our customers are priority one, whether they’re located in the biggest cities or smaller communities such as Cedar Glen and Lake Arrowhead.
“I want to express my gratitude to my family for supporting me while I’ve worked towards my goals, and to the leadership team at the USPS San Diego District office for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.”
Giroux was born in Orange County, raised in Anaheim and graduated from Katella High School. He currently resides in San Bernardino.
Giroux and his wife, Junie, have three children. His hobbies include Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a martial arts discipline in which he has earned a purple belt and competes nationally.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations
