ROSAMOND, CA — Sarah Stiles was recently sworn in as the newest Postmaster to serve the Rosamond Post Office.
Stiles began her postal career 16 years ago as a carrier in Simi Valley, CA. Since then, she has worn multiple hats in the Postal Service serving in vital roles in customer relations, marketing, sales and her most recent role as Customer Service Supervisor.
As outlined in the USPS Delivering for America plan, the postal service is committed to modernizing and continually adapting to the evolving needs of all customers. As the Postmaster of the Rosamond Office Stiles is prepared to serve her community with that development in mind.
“The Post Office and Postmaster are the hearts of the city. I am honored and humbled to be selected as Postmaster of Rosamond,” Said Stiles “It is my goal to provide leadership and development to my employees in a safe environment and provide the good people of Rosamond with an excellent customer experience.”
Stiles resides in Tehachapi, CA where she enjoys spending time with her friends and family including her four children.
In her spare time Stiles enjoys dancing, playing pool and karaoke.
Stiles also serves as a proud volunteer of the VFW in Tehachapi, CA.
As the Postmaster of Rosamond, Stiles supervises four employees and oversees retail services at the Rosamond Post Office and the daily distribution of mail to 7,966 delivery stops and to 2,182 PO Boxes at her facility to this bustling community of over 21,000 residents.
Stiles replaces Phillip Fudally who has retired.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
