Sonoma, CA – On October 24th, 2022, Alexandria Drew was sworn in as the Sonoma, CA postmaster by USPS Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.  Drew was given the Oath of Office, along with 31 of her fellow postmasters, in front of an audience of over 400 of her peers and postal executives. 

Drew began her postal career in 2015 as a mail carrier in Rohnert Park.  With hard work and dedication, she quickly moved up to the position of Customer Service Supervisor in 2017.  After five years honing her skills as a supervisor, Drew was ready to take on her next challenge.   “In my 7 years with the United States Postal Service, I have seen firsthand the role the Postal Service plays connecting neighbors and our community to the nation.  I am honored to serve as the next Postmaster of Sonoma, CA.”

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
