What:

Local media are invited to get a behind-the-scenes tour of the U.S. Postal Service’s largest mail processing facility in the greater San Diego area during its busiest week of the year.

USPS guides will escort media representatives on one-on-one tours of the USPS Margaret L. Sellers (MLS) Processing & Distribution Center, explaining major mail processing procedures and providing opportunities to shoot b-roll and/or photos.

After each tour is over, a USPS Holiday Spokesperson will be available to answer general questions about USPS holiday preparations, suggested mailing dates, and consumer information such as shipping and packing tips and how customers can save time and money while sending out their Christmas packages.

How:

RSVP to duke.gonzales@usps.gov by Wednesday, Dec. 14. Twenty-minute tour time slots from 5 to 6:30 p.m. will be allotted as RSVPs are received. Parking and entry instructions will be provided once time slots are confirmed.
