Background:
Last summer, Alexander Espinosa was looking for a position that offered stability. While on his search, he noticed his neighborhood carrier seemed to have a position that fit the bill. He immediately searched online and found a position in his hometown of Camarillo, CA. He hasn’t looked back since.

Despite coming from a different field in construction, Espinosa was welcomed into the Postal Service with hands on training and support from fellow carriers and managers. That support allowed him to have a successful holiday season and confidence in his role.

Espinosa highlights that the community he serves is a key part of his role. “It’s a great feeling of accomplishment to provide an important service for so many people. And the community recognizes that and supports us back,” said Espinosa.

Delivering in this tight-nit coastal community is a perfect opportunity to build true relationships and makes this more than a job-but a familiar, consistent career for those who reside.

“The residents of Camarillo are people who have been or will be here for a long time and that allows us to build a longer lasting relationship.”
