Background:
On Thursday, March 16th, in his 24th year as a postal employee, Martin Patino will be sworn in as Frazier Park Postmaster.
Patino began his postal career in Alhambra, CA as a Letter Carrier in 1998. He began his management career in 2014 in Santa Clarita. He later worked in Bakersfield, CA before his appointment to his current position.
“It is an honor to be selected as Postmaster of Frazier Park,” Patino said. “Being postmaster is very special to me because I get to bring my passion to work every day and make a difference. Being postmaster to me means providing quality service to this community that I’m proud to be a part of.”
Patino enjoys spending time with his family, collecting vintage toys and coins. He is married to Ana Escutia. They have three children, Betzy, Dalila, and Abel.
As Frazier Park Postmaster, Patino oversees over 2,500 pieces of mail delivered daily, while servicing over 900 Post Office Box deliveries. He manages five employees and two postal routes with a population of over 3,000.
