USPS Celebrates Driver’s Safety in Los Angeles

Recognition ceremony honoring drivers with achievements in safety and service

The Postal Service would like to extend an invitation to be a part of honoring 36 transportation drivers for their commitment to safety and years of service while transporting and handling precious cargo, our customers mail, and packages.

Background:

The United States Postal Service has one of the largest vehicle fleets in the world. Each driver will be presented with an “Expert Driver” certificate in recognition of their safety and years of service. Our drivers face hazardous road conditions, congestion, gridlock, city and rural terrain and they are required to be defensive drivers daily. “As outlined in USPS’s Delivering for America plan, we’re continually improving our processes and adapting to the changing needs of our customers.
