Rimforest Mail Delivery Temporarily Relocates to Blue Jay Post Office

Rimforest Customers’ Mail to be Available at Blue Jay Beginning Sat 3/11

SAN BERNARDINO – In an effort to accelerate the resumption of mail delivery to the customers of the temporarily closed Rimforest Post Office, postal employees will transport that office’s mail to the recently reopened Blue Jay Post Office and make it make available for pickup beginning tomorrow, Saturday, Mar. 11.

This weekend the Blue Jay Post Office will extend its hours of operation in order to accommodate customers from its community as well as from Rimforest. Blue Jay will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday and from 8 a.m. to noon this Sunday.

The regular hours of operation of the Blue Jay Post Office are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

Customers must present a photo ID in order to pick up their mail.

The Blue Jay Post Office is located at 27177 State Highway 189 Suite F, Blue Jay CA, less than two miles from the Rimforest Post Office

Two postal facilities located in San Bernardino mountain communities remain temporarily closed due to the impacts of the current winter storm. Services will resume at these facilities as soon as the U.S. Postal Service determines that it is safe to do so.
