RIVERSIDE – The U.S. Postal Service will be hosting job fairs at 11 Riverside County and San Bernardino low desert post offices on Thursday, May 11.

USPS is hoping the job fairs will help to fill dozens of rural carrier associate (RCA) positions that are available at the 11 participating post offices.

The RCA positions offer starting pay of $19.94 per hour and the following job duties: Casing, delivering, and collecting mail along a rural route and providing customers on that route with a variety of services.

The locations and times of the USPS job fairs on May 11 are:

“This hiring effort is focused on the post offices at which we currently have the greatest need for rural carrier associates,” said USPS Workforce Manager Laura Vera. “These jobs are great opportunities for anyone seeking fast-paced, rewarding work environments with good pay, and are a first step that could lead to long-term careers in the Postal Service.

“As outlined in our USPS Delivering for America plan, we’re modernizing and continually adapting to the changing needs of our customers. In order to do that, we need motivated, dedicated people to join us to deliver for our local communities and our nation.”

USPS personnel will be onsite at the above job fairs to answer questions, assist potential applicants and provide detailed information about available positions.
