Background:
On Tuesday, July 18th, in his 25th year as a postal employee, Richard Kuo will be sworn in as Isleton Postmaster.
Kuo began his postal career in Los Angeles, CA in 1998. In 2014, he began his management career in Stockton, CA, and later in Walnut Grove, CA.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be Postmaster of this small and close-knit community,” Kuo said. “My goal is to continue providing stellar customer service by means of my expertly trained staff. The Postal Service aims to provide first-class service which can be seen in the PMG’s Delivering for America 10-Year Plan,” he said.
Kuo enjoys watching sports and spending time with his family. He is married to Alma, and they have two sons, Kyle and Tyle. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Technology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
As Isleton Postmaster, Kuo oversees over 2,500 pieces of mail delivered daily while also servicing over 860 Post Office Box deliveries. He manages five people, one postal route with a population of over 700.
