Storm Prompts Closure of Four Inland Empire, Inyo Post Offices
Forest Falls, Morongo Valley, North Palm Springs & Shoshone
SAN BERNARDINO — The Forest Falls, Morongo Valley, North Palm Springs, and Shoshone Post Offices are temporarily closed due to the impacts of Tropical Storm Hilary. Services will resume as soon as the U.S. Postal Service determines that it is safe to do so.
Mail service for customers of those offices have been temporarily relocated, as detailed below.
- Forest Falls
Customers normally served by the Forest Falls Post Office at 40555 Valley of the Falls Drive should temporarily pick up their mail at the Mentone Post Office located at 1842 Mentone Blvd, Mentone CA 92359. Business hours for the Mentone Post Office are: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Customers must present a photo ID for mail pick-up.
- Morongo Valley
Customers normally served by the Morongo Valley Post Office at 49649 29 Palms Highway should temporarily pick up their mail at the Yucca Valley Post Office located at 57280 Yucca Trail, Yucca Valley CA 92284. Business hours for the Yucca Valley Post Office are: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Customers must present a photo ID for mail pick-up.
- North Palm Springs
Customers normally served by the North Palm Springs Post Office at 64117 Dillon Road should temporarily pick up their mail at the Palm Springs Post Office located at 333 N Sunrise Way, Palm Springs CA 92262. Business hours for the Palm Springs Post Office are: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Customers must present a photo ID for mail pick-up.
- Shoshone
Customers normally served by the Shoshone Post Office at 113 N State Highway 127 should temporarily pick up their mail at the Baker Post Office located at 1 Lakeview Drive, Baker CA 92309. Business hours for the Baker Post Office are: 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Customers must present a photo ID for mail pick-up.
