UNION CITY, CA — The U.S. Postal Service is hosting two free hiring events on Friday, January 26, 2024, to help future employees create their online profile and immediately start applying for jobs.

  • Mail Processing: Clerks and Mail Handlers
  • Delivery: City and Rural Carriers
  • Transportation: Tractor Trailer Operators
  • Maintenance: Mechanics, Laborer Custodian and Automotive Technician

Location: Union City Post Office, 33170 Alvarado Niles Blvd, Union City, CA 94587 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Location: Newark Post Office, 6655 Clark Ave, Newark, CA 94560 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Applicants must be 18 years or older. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV two-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
