LUCERNE VALLEY — Rene’e Page was recently named the Postmaster of the Lucerne Valley Post Office.  

In that position, Page manages six employees and oversees retail services at the Lucerne Valley Post Office and the daily distribution of mail on three delivery routes serving Lucerne Valley, and to 3,000 PO Boxes at her facility.

She replaces former Lucerne Valley Postmaster Ruben Lemos, who retired.

Page is an 18-year postal employee who began her career as a mail carrier and most recently served as a supervisor at the Victorville Post Office.

“I love being here!” said Page. “I’m so proud and happy to have been selected for this position, in the community in which I live. Our employees and customers are awesome!

“I hope to further the Postal Service’s legacy of outstanding customer service and to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

“As outlined in USPS’s Delivering for America plan, we are modernizing and continually adapting to the changing needs of our customers. Our customers are priority one, whether they’re located in a major metropolitan area or smaller communities like Lucerne Valley.

“I want to express my gratitude to my family for their support, to my postal mentors for their guidance and to the leadership team at the USPS San Diego District office for giving me this opportunity.”

Page was born and raised in Southern California, graduated from Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead and currently resides in Lucerne Valley.

Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling, and riding her motorcycle.
