Background:
On Friday, March 8th in her 9th year as a postal employee, Carly Hamontree will be sworn in as Clements Postmaster. She will follow in steps of the first Clements Postmaster William Athearn.
Hamontree began her postal career in Stockton, CA in 2015 as a letter carrier. In 2016, she became a clerk in Riverbank, CA, and later became a supervisor in Modesto, CA in 2022.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be Postmaster of this great community,” Hamontree said. “My goal is to continue providing excellent customer service. The Postal Service aims to provide first-class service which can be seen in the PMG’s Delivering for America 10-Year Plan,” she said.
Hamontree enjoys sports and spending time her grandchildren. She likes to volunteer at Tunnel to Towers and Race for a Cure. Hamontree has one daughter, Cicely and one son, Christopher. She resides in Modesto, CA.
As Clements Postmaster, Hamontree oversees over 1,000 pieces of mail delivered daily while servicing over 500 Post Office Boxes. She manages one employee, with population of over 1,000.
