Manages Retail, Delivery & PO Box Services for Riverside
RIVERSIDE – Frank Lemos, Jr. was recently named the Postmaster of the Riverside Post Office.
In that position, Lemos manages 421 employees and oversees retail services at the four postal facilities located within Riverside city limits—Riverside Main, Riverside Downtown, Arlington and Hardman--and the daily distribution of mail on 215 delivery routes serving the city.
He replaces former Riverside Postmaster Tanya Toedt-Fitzharris, who was recently named the postmaster for the city of San Diego.
Lemos is a 26-year postal employee who began his career as a Riverside mail carrier and most recently served as a manager of post office operations for the USPS San Diego district office.
“I’m excited and proud to have been selected for this position,” said Lemos. “I hope to further the Postal Service’s legacy of outstanding customer service and to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
“My specific goals include streamlining postal operations, improving delivery efficiency, enhancing customer service, and fostering a positive relationship within the community.
“As outlined in USPS’s Delivering for America plan, we are modernizing and continually adapting to the changing needs of our customers. Our customers are priority one, whether they’re located in a rural community or a bustling, growing city like Riverside.
“I want to express my gratitude to my family for their support, to my postal mentors for their guidance and to the leadership team at the USPS San Diego district office for giving me this opportunity.”
Lemos was born and raised in Rialto, graduated from Eisenhower High School, Chaffey College and San Bernardino Valley College, and currently resides in Yucaipa.
His hobbies include spending time with his family, including his wife Selina, his four sons and his daughter, watching sports and collecting sports memorabilia.
