Customers impacted by evacuations may come to alternative locations for mail pick-up
RED BLUFF, CA — Mandatory evacuations due to a fast-moving wildfire in Tehama County has resulted in the temporary closure of the Manton Post Office, located at 31240 Manton Rd, Manton, CA 96059, and Mineral Post Office, located at 38450 CA-36, Mineral, CA 96063. Customers impacted by these evacuations and limited delivery access may retrieve their mail at alternative pick-up sites.
Customers are instructed to provide photo ID for all mail pick-up.
Customers normally served by the Manton Post Office, can pick-up their mail at the Shingletown Post Office located at 31268 State Highway 44 STE B Shingletown, CA 96088, hours for pick-up are Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Sat., 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Customers normally served by the Mineral Post Office, can pick-up their mail at the Chester Post Office located at 218 Laurel Ln, Chester, CA 96020, hours for pick-up are Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sat., 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
This is a rapidly changing situation, and the USPS is proud to serve our local communities. We ask for patience as we hold our solemn duties to provide the safest, fastest, and most efficient method of providing mail service to our residents.
