USPS Selects Mendoza as San Bernardino Postmaster

SAN BERNARDINO, CA – Edwin Mendoza was recently named as the 32nd Postmaster for San Bernardino, CA, continuing a long line of service to the community since a Post Office was established in 1852.

As the San Bernardino postmaster, he manages more than 200 employees in six (6) Post Office serving ZIP Codes 92401, 92404, 92405, 92407, and 92411. He oversees 110 delivery routes serving nearly 81,000 addresses and more than 8,600 PO Boxes throughout the city.

Mendoza is a 29-year postal employee who began his career as a letter carrier at the Sierra Madre, CA, Post office. He previously served as the Torrence, CA, postmaster before taking the position in San Bernardino.

 “I want to express my gratitude to my family for their support, to my postal mentors for believing in me, and to my leadership team for giving me this opportunity.” he said. “I’m looking forward to working with my new team and to ensuring that San Bernardino Post Offices are number 1 in Southern California and the nation,”

Mendoza was born in the Philippines and raised in the Los Angeles area. He enjoys surfing, fishing, and other outdoor activities in Southern California.

The San Bernardino Main Post Office also offers passport and photo services by appointment at 1900 W Redlands Blvd.
