Foy Post Office helps business customers prepare for holiday shipping

The postal team at the Foy Post Office is hosting an event to help small business owners strengthen their business by utilizing postal products and services to innovate and grow through USPS shipping solutions.

Postal customers are invited to stop in and connect with a Roshunn Spann, Manager who will also offer any needed assistance with holiday shipping needs and ways to “skip” the line.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Station Manager Spann will be lending a helping hand in the post office lobby to meet and greet customers. The manager and team will also offer needed assistance with Postal products and services business customers can use to help their businesses grow.

The information below covers domestic, international and military shipping destinations to allow for the timely delivery of cards, letters and packages by Dec. 25th.

Items Sent to Addresses in the Contiguous United States (Lower 48 States):

  • USPS Ground Advantage service: Dec. 18
  • First-Class Mail service: Dec. 18
  • Priority Mail service: Dec. 19
  • Priority Mail Express service: Dec. 21

Items Sent to Addresses in Alaska and Hawaii:

  • USPS Ground Advantage service: Dec. 16
  • First-Class Mail service: Dec. 18
  • Priority Mail service: Dec. 19
  • Priority Mail Express service: Dec. 20

USPS Is Ready for the Peak Shipping Season

A option this year is USPS Ground Advantage, a service that provides a simple, reliable and affordable way to ship packages with day certain delivery of  2-5 business days based on distance.

In addition to our convenient retail locations, customers can purchase their shipping labels, order Priority Mail packaging and schedule free carrier pick up via the Postal Service’s shipping platform  Click-N-Ship . Customers using the platform will have access to Commercial Shipping Rates that will apply to all domestic package labels — making it easier for customers to ship their packages.

The Postal Service is ready to deliver for the holidays, serving 169 million addresses across the country and covering every state, city and town. Everyone living in the United States and its territories has access to postal products and services.
