Grow Your Business Day and Write a Letter to Santa
What:
On December 5, the Postal Service is extending an invite to customers and their families to participate in various activities at the San Pedro Post Office.
The San Pedro Postmaster will offer a “Helping Hand” at a meet-and-greet with the public and small business owners to strengthen their mailing needs with postal products designed to innovate and grow their businesses.
The team will also be hosting a letter writing campaign for children and families interested in writing a letter to Santa complete with letters and envelopes.

Background:
In the spirit of the holiday season, Postmaster White will be lending a helping hand in the post office lobby, offering solutions to help local business owners grow their business while offering a fun, and worthy, family event to write letters to Santa. The San Pedro team will also offer needed assistance with postal products and services customers can use to have their packages arrive to their destinations before Dec 25.
The event will offer local businesses and residents an opportunity to interact with the postal team and learn ways to grow their business. The holiday season is a great time of the year to show new and existing customers the U.S. Postal Service makes customer satisfaction priority number one.

A option this year is USPS Ground Advantage, a service that provides a simple, reliable and affordable way to ship packages with day certain delivery of 2-5 business days based on distance.
In addition to our convenient retail locations, customers can purchase their shipping labels, order Priority Mail packaging and schedule free carrier pick up via the Postal Service’s shipping platform Click-N-Ship . Customers using the platform will have access to Commercial Shipping Rates that will apply to all domestic package labels — making it easier for customers to ship their packages.
