Morgan Hill Post Office will Pony Up a Special Stamp Cancellation

Commemoration of 150th Anniversary Independence Day Parade

Morgan Hill Post Office Pony Express cancellation

On Friday, July 4, 2025 the Morgan Hill Post Office will help commemorate the 150th Morgan Hill 4th of July Parade with a special hand off from Pony Express riders of commemorative postcards along the parade route.

Each postcard will receive the commemorative pictorial cancellation and be mailed out of the Morgan Hill Post Office.

“We’re excited and honored to celebrate Morgan Hill and its rich history,” said Morgan Hill Postmaster Kulwinder Thandi “This cancellation is a great reminder of the history and unique ties between USPS and our community. The Postal Service has proudly served the American public for over 250 years we understand the significance of this achievement.”

The cancellation will also be available at the Morgan Hill Post Office for 30 days.

Pictorial postmarks also may be obtained through the mail for anyone unable to attend through August 4, 2025.

For one or more postmarks, affix the minimum of a First-Class stamp to an envelope or postcard, address the envelope or postcard to yourself or to others, insert a card of thickness in the envelope(s), and tuck in the flap(s). Place the envelope(s) or postcard(s) in a large envelope and mail to:
