Chico Mid-Town Post Office to Provide Temporary Mail Pick-Up and Retail Services for Hamilton City Customers

CHICO, CA- Effective Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the Chico Mid-Town Post Office located at 141 W. 5th St., Chico, CA 95928 will provide mail pick-up services for Hamilton City PO Box customers.

Hamilton City PO Box customers will have access to full retail services and more flexibility for mail pick-up with access to longer lobby hours than the previous temporary pick-up location at 221 Main St., Hamilton City, CA.

Customers are reminded to bring proper photo identification for mail and package pickups.

Retail and pick-up services are available at the Chico Midtown Post Office, located at 141 W 5th St Chico CA 95928, Monday- Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Hamilton City Post Office located at 201 Main St., Hamilton City, CA 95951 remains temporarily closed after sustaining significant building damage.

Many retail services including temporary forwards, stamps and more, are also available anytime, online at USPS.com.

The USPS greatly appreciates the continued patience of our customers as we continue to work to restore services after this unforeseen emergency relocation.
