Rohnert Park Post Office hosts passport fair
ROHNERT PARK, CA —Planning on heating up your travel bucket list? If you plan to set sail on your next fantastic voyage overseas you will need to secure your passport ahead of time.
For travelers in Sonoma County the Rohnert Park Post Office located at 150 Raleys Towne Center Rohnert Park, CA, 94928, will host a Passport Fair this weekend to make those travel plans just a little easier, Saturday, July 19.
Customers attending the fair will have the opportunity to complete passport services including photos on a first-come-first served basis during the fair hours 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Customers can also book appointments using the online retail customer appointment scheduler.
To help make the process as smooth as possible, applicants are asked to fill out application forms ahead of time. Forms and fee information can be found on the Postal Service website or on the U.S. Department of State website.
Customers can also obtain passport information by phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at (877) 487-2778.
To apply for a passport, applicants need a valid form of photo identification and proof of citizenship.
Proof of identification — You may submit items such as the following containing your signature and a photograph that is a good likeness of you: Current or previous U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, certificate of citizenship or a current and valid driver’s license, government ID or military ID.
