RAMONA, CA — The U.S. Postal Service recently named Diana Gutierrez as the new Ramona Postmaster.  She joins a long history of postmasters serving the community since 1883.

Gutierrez brings over 20 years of experience to the role of postmaster. She began her career as a rural carrier in Perris, CA. In 2018, she moved into supervision and eventually served as the Officer In Charge (OIC) of several post offices before her first appointment as postmaster serving Pauma Valley and Palomar. She came to Ramona Post Office as the OIC in February of this year before being selected for the position.

“It’s an honor to serve the Ramona community as Postmaster,” Gutierrez said. “My goal is to provide exceptional service to our customers while creating a supportive environment for employees to grow and succeed. I’m proud to lead a dedicated team that helps keep this beautiful town connected every day.”

She is active in her community with her family and is committed to supporting small business success.

In her new role, Postmaster Gutierrez will oversee more than 35 employees, retail services including 1,500+ PO Boxes, and 19 delivery routes with over 8,000 deliveries to serve the mailing needs of the Ramona community.

Ramona Post Office is located at 1444 Main St. and is open Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm; and closed Sunday.
