Update: Torrance Main Post Office

Operations Relocated Until Further Notice

TORRANCE, CA — On July 26, the Retail, Post Office Box and Delivery operations at the Torrance Main Post Office, located at 2510 Monterey Street, Torrance, CA, 90503, were relocated to neighboring facilities as a precautionary measure, following concerns regarding potential asbestos exposure within the building.

Following inspection, no asbestos-containing materials were identified within the air duct systems or any human-occupied areas. Out of an abundance of caution, additional testing is underway to determine the condition of all remaining property inside the facility.

While we understand the importance of these items to our customers, further testing will confirm the status of all property remaining inside the facility.

At this time, services for Bulk Mail Entry Unit (BMEU), Hold Mail, Caller Service, and PO Box handled by the Torrance Main Post Office have been relocated as designated below.
