Assistance Available for New Passport Applications
What:
To help U.S. citizens prepare for international travel, the U.S. Postal Service will be hosting a passport fair on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at the Roseville Post Office on Sierra Gardens Dr. Appointments are not required, but customers are encouraged to show up early, as applicants will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those planning international travel should plan ahead and get their passport applications as soon as possible. The U.S. Passport Agency currently estimates that it will take from six to eight weeks to process new passport applications.

Background:
Customers attending this event will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not required.
Passport photo services are available for those who need it for $15.
Routine and expedited new passport applications will both be accepted.
Payment of U.S. Passport Agency fees must be made with cash, debit cards, or money orders.
Applicants are advised to complete their DS-11 new passport application in advance, print it, and bring it unsigned to the event with an acceptable passport photo (or have one taken at the event), fees, and documents. The DS-11 application form can be found at:

The Passport Agency reminds travelers to submit their passport applications as early as possible, far in advance of planned travel to avoid problems with receiving their passports.
