Bolinas Post Office reopens in local location

Postal Service welcomes customers back in Bolinas

BOLINAS, CA — The Postal Service is proud to announce the resumption of operations in Bolinas, Monday, September 29, 2025 at its former location, 20 Brighton Ave, Bolinas, CA 94924.

The location will provide full retail and Post Office Box (PO BOX) services in its refreshed facility.

Services were temporarily relocated after a previous loss of lease forced relocation to the Stinson Beach Post Office.

Bolinas P.O. Boxholders currently receiving their mail at the Stinson Beach Post Office will receive their mail at the Bolinas Post Office effective September 29, 2025.

Customers are asked to please present photo I.D. for mail pick-up and to receive their new P.O. Box keys.

The Bolinas Post Office will be open for retail Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., mail pick-up is available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday pick-up hours will be available from 10:00 a.m. – noon.

“The Postal Service is proud to reopen a refreshed and brighter Post Office in the community of Bolinas. We are eager to deliver consistent and convenient service just in time for the holiday season,” said District Manager Aron Jones.

Many retail services are also available online including stamps, change of address requests or P.O. Box services can start the process online at usps.com.
