The Postal Service Has Openings Across Los Angeles Metropolitan Area
Over 100 “holiday” positions available to be filled
Greater Los Angeles – The Postal Service in Los Angeles is actively onboarding new employees weekly, until positions have been filled to ensure “all hands-on deck” for the upcoming holiday season. A total of 119 holiday positions will be needed to meet the demand for service across the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Pre-career positions are also available for anyone interested in seeking long-term employment with the Postal Service. Applicants may apply for all positions at the new USPS online job portal for non-career and pre-career positions located at the USPS Careers Site jobs.usps.com.

At the time of appointment, applicants must have a valid driver's license from the state in which they live.
Applicants must also demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. Applicants selected under this qualification standard must successfully complete the required Vehicle Familiarization and Safe Operation training, including demonstration of the ability to safely drive a vehicle of the type used on the job.
Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet the U.S. Postal Service's requirement to be drug free. Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
