VICTORVILLE, CA — The U.S. Postal Service recently selected Mark Medina as the Postmaster for Victorville. He joins the local postal team with a commitment to excellent customer service and a safe, positive, and engaging work experience for employees.

“I will put everything I can into striving for performance. It took me a long time to get here; however, I am so happy that I am here today to work with the community of Victorville, and to work with all my craft employees, and most of all support my management team,” Medina said. “I am here to change the narrative and bring about a harmonious work environment like never before. I have so many goals in my career, only way to go is up from here.

“This year has been difficult with the passing of my grandma, who has inspired me throughout my life to keep going no matter how difficult things may get. I want to give a huge shout out to my aunt Yvonne Carrillo, and my mom and dad for everything they’ve done for me throughout my life. The postal service has done a lot for me, and I know it will continue giving.”

Medina began working for the Postal Service in 2017 as a Postal Support Mail Processing Clerk at City of Industry where he served in supervisory positions as well. He moved into supervisory positions at Pomona and Glendale Post Offices and served as manager and Officer In Charge at post offices in Fountain Valley and Norco before being selected to serve in Victorville.

In his new role, Postmaster Medina will oversee nearly 60 delivery routes, manage retail services, PO Box services, delivery operations, and customer support serving the Victorville area.
