The Postal Service is hosting hiring fairs in San Diego throughout the month of February. Personnel will be on-site to provide information about available positions, answer questions, and help potential candidates through the application process.
USPS is hiring for automotive technicians who will be based at the main processing facility in San Diego, CA.
Technician duties and responsibilities include: performing routine and complex repairs and maintenance on all types of motor vehicles used in the postal fleet; troubleshoot and diagnose more complex vehicle malfunctions using a variety of computerized test equipment; conduct inspections and other job-related responsibilities in support of primary duties.

Starting annual salary: $66,586 paid bi-weekly.
DRIVING REQUIRED: Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger. The driving must have taken place in the U.S. or its possessions or territories or in U.S. military installations worldwide.
