What:

The mail moves industry, and the industry moves the mail. To strengthen that partnership, the U.S. Postal Service is hosting an Areas Inspiring Mail (AIM) event built to foster collaboration between the Postal Service and commercial mailers.

On Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT, the Postal Service will welcome industry partners to the San Francisco Processing and Distribution Center for “Igniting Excellence,” a free, in-person event designed to help mailers grow their business and get more from their partnership with USPS.

Attendees will meet Postal Service leaders, network with industry peers, and learn about the latest postal products, services, and best practices. USPS executives will provide an overview of the improvements underway through the Postal Service’s transformation and modernization plan, and how those changes benefit commercial mailers.

The event includes a free lunch and free parking. An optional exclusive tour of the facility is also available, with only 25 spots open on a first-come, first-served basis.
