Background:

On December 21, 2018, Public Law No: 115-359 designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 9609 South University Boulevard in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, as the “Deputy Sheriff Zackari Spurlock Parrish, III, Post Office Building.”

On Sunday, December 31, 2017, Officer Parrish was killed and four other deputies were attacked in a Denver suburb while responding to a disturbance call.
