Online tools, self-service access at select sites and simple planning keep mail moving
DENVER — The U.S. Postal Service is reminding customers in Colorado that Post Office locations will be closed and regular mail delivery will not occur on Presidents’ Day, Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.
While retail counters will be closed, customers can still use USPS tools and services that support simple, convenient mailing — part of the Postal Service’s recent efforts to modernize the customer experience.
“Even on a federal holiday, customers have options to plan ahead and stay connected,” said Zachary Laux, communications specialist for the Postal Service. “The Postal Service has continued to improve the tools and features people use most, and we encourage customers to take advantage of those convenient resources — especially if they’re planning to mail First-Class letters or important documents.”
