Background:
In its largest hiring effort of the year, Denver’s USPS seeks to hire 400 employees to work inside its mail processing facilities. To help potential candidates, the Denver hiring team has set up four job fair events at the Denver Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) and Network Distribution Center (NDC).
“These job fair events make it easy for candidates to find a great job with the Postal Service,” said Human Recourses Manager Veronica Gallegos.
Supervisors and staff will be available during the job fairs to answer questions and assist attendees through the hiring process.
The Postal Service is seeking to hire primarily Mail Handler Assistants (MHAs) with starting pay of $19.02 per hour paid bi-weekly. Mail Handlers have the potential to earn up to 36.57 per hour. Mail Handler Equipment Operators can earn up to $37.15 per hour. Benefits include regular pay increases, paid vacation leave, health insurance, and growth opportunities.
