Passport-Dedicated Hours Coming to Hamden Saturday, Nov. 9 and 16

CONNECTICUT — Where can you travel in two hours?

At the Hamden Post Office, two extra hours for the next two Saturdays could take you around the globe.

Come by for the usual services during Hamden’s regular Post Office hours from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, then stay to knock the first item off your travel to-do list!
Hamden’s customers can get on the fast-track with special passport-dedicated hours from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. You won’t have to go far, Hamden Post Office is conveniently located at 1744 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, CT.

Passports take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to process, so take advantage of these Post Office dates and times to jump-start your holiday planning.

Arrive nice and early as customer will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. The Postal Service recommends reviewing the detailed guidelines for preparing passport applications, a list of the necessary supporting documents, and the current processing times at travel.state.gov.
