Hartford, CT — Kevin Clark has been promoted to the position of district manager for the U.S. Postal Service’s Connecticut Valley District which includes more than 400 delivery units and four processing facilities across three states: Connecticut, Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts.
Mr. Clark comes to Connecticut Valley District after serving as district manager for the Northern New England District.
Starting as a letter carrier, Mr. Clark worked his way into leadership and served in several Postmaster positions across the state of Maine. He then worked as a plant manager of the Eastern Maine Processing Center, senior plant manager for NNE and Albany Districts and manager of post office operations for the Northern New England, Ohio Valley and Appalachian Districts.
Mr. Clark, a veteran himself, come to the Postal Service after serving in the U. S. Navy.
He joins the 1,300 veterans among more than 14,000 postal employees that work with him in the Connecticut Valley District.
With a passion for continuous education, Mr. Clark earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine in Augusta. He is also a graduate of the Postal Service’s Managerial Leadership Program, Advanced Leadership Program, Processing Distribution Management Program, Executive Foundations and Executive Leadership and is Black Belt certified in Lean Six Sigma.
Kevin and his wife Susan have relocated to Connecticut and will reside in Vernon, CT.
