CONNECTICUT— In observance of Memorial Day, a federal holiday celebrating its 50-year anniversary, Connecticut Post Offices will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021. Although there will be no regular mail delivery on the holiday, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on May 31.
Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
Prefer to stay home anyway? Customers can shop online 24/7 on our postal website at www.usps.com. Here, customers can enjoy First-Class service 365 days a year.
Customers can buy stamps at Stamps | USPS.com including the new Heritage Breeds stamps (did you know the donkey featured is from Connecticut?) and the popular new Star Wars Droids stamps or make an appointment to process a passport renewal or application. Our brick-and-mortar office may be closed but you can still make plans by using these great resources online.
Customers with questions or comments about their mail service can call toll-free 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) or send an email to the Postal Service by clicking on Contact Us at the bottom of the USPS.com homepage and following the prompts for emails.
As always, the Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
