Stamford Mail Processing Center to host “Grow Your Business” event and facility tour supporting small businesses

Expect to be inspired - Grow Your Business event

CONNECTICUT — This spring, the Postal Service is hosting a series of events to help small businesses grow. These Grow Your Business events recognize the importance of supporting small businesses.

To add convenience to shipping solutions, Post Offices in Connecticut are hosting events during the months April to July to demonstrate how the Postal Service continues to create easy and affordable services designed to help small businesses grow.

Visit the Stamford Mail Processing Center to learn from experts on business development:

  • Tuesday, April 5 at the Stamford Mail Processing Facility located at 427 West Ave., Stamford, CT 06910.

Join representatives from Norwalk, Wilton, Westport Post Offices to learn about local resources and program offered in your area.

“When it comes to helping small business grow in Connecticut, your business is our business,” said Westport Postmaster Amalia Cruz.

“We offer numerous solutions to assist with marketing efforts such as Every Door Direct Mail and new and exciting mailing innovations for advertising. In addition, we continue to provide shipping solutions such as Priority Mail that help small business ship economically and confidently,” Cruz added.

“This year, we are adding USPS Connect throughout Connecticut,” said Cruz. “These shipping solutions add more options for same-day and next-day deliveries.”

After the event, join postal leaders for a tour of the processing facility.

For more than two centuries, the Postal Service has been helping small businesses grow and supporting Main Streets everywhere throughout the highs and the lows. These events are designed to address the unique needs of small businesses, even during these challenging times.
