HARTFORD — Throughout Connecticut, select Post Offices will open every Sunday in December (excluding Christmas, Dec. 25) to make it more convenient for customers to complete their holiday mailings.
“With the holiday season in full swing, we wanted to give people more options to ship packages out or pick packages up. We know it might be hard for people to get here during the week, so we added Sunday hours to a dozen Post Offices across the state,” said District Manager Carissa Laino.
The following Post Offices will open (with hours as indicated) three Sundays in a row: Dec. 4, 11 and 18:
Greenwich Post Office, 10 a.m.-noon (29 Valley Dr., Greenwich, CT 06831)
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
