South Woodstock Post Office Retail Services Moving to Woodstock Post Office in Temporary Relocation

SOUTH WOODSTOCK, CT — Effective Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, retail services and Post Office Boxes for South Woodstock Post Office (located at 310 Route 169, South Woodstock, CT 06267), will temporarily relocate to Woodstock Post Office (located at 679 Route 169, Woodstock, CT 06281).

The last day of retail service at the old facility will Monday, Sept. 25.

Important information for South Woodstock Post Office Box customers:

  • Any mail not picked up by the customer by close of business on Sept. 25 will be safely and securely moved to Woodstock Post Office. This includes Post Office Box mail and packages.
  • Post Office Box customers will pick up new Post Office Box keys (no additional cost) at the Woodstock Post Office (government-issued identification will be required to obtain new Post Office Box keys).
  • There will be no change to the Post Office Box numbers.
  • This move will not affect door-to-door delivery to our customers and the routes will remain the same. There will be no interruption of delivery service.

Post Office Box customers will have access to the Woodstock Post Office lobby 24/7 to collect their mail.

South Woodstock Post Office is planning to return to the community as soon as possible.
