In Willimantic, the Postal Service is offering applicants a chance to hear about current and upcoming positions at a Connecticut Department of Labor job fair on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

The fair will take place at the American Job Center (1320 Main Street Willimantic, CT 06226) from 11 a.m.-noon.

The Postal Service is looking to fill immediate openings across the state for the following positions:

  • Tractor Trailer Operator (TTO), starting salary $33.43 per hour paid bi-weekly. This position requires a commercial driver’s license.
  • City Carrier Assistant (CCA), starting salary $21.21 per hour paid bi-weekly.
  • Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC), salary range is $21.89 per hour paid bi-weekly.
  • Postal Support Employee (PSE), starting salary $21.44 per hour paid bi-weekly.
  • Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO), starting salary $29.90 per hour paid bi-weekly. This position requires a commercial driver’s license.
